Linda Salov: INVESTIGATOR

Introduction

Linda Salov, a retired Sergeant with over 22 years of dedicated service in law enforcement, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to Hold The Line Equestrian. Renowned for her integrity and strong work ethic, Linda has been instrumental in developing policies and forging valuable inter-agency relationships that have significantly enhanced operational effectiveness.

 

In two Westchester County police departments throughout her illustrious career, Linda has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities. As the President of the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) for over eight years and an officer in the Union for more than a decade, she successfully negotiated four collective bargaining agreements, achieving favorable terms that underscored her negotiation prowess. Her leadership extended to training roles, where she educated law enforcement personnel on handling domestic violence cases and assisted victims in navigating their paths to independence.

 

Interpersonal Skills and Collaboration Linda’s exceptional interpersonal skills have not only allowed her to integrate seamlessly with colleagues but also to bridge gaps between various law enforcement agencies. Her ability to communicate effectively and forge strong relationships has been a cornerstone of her career.

Language Proficiency and Undercover Work

Fluent in Croatian and Spanish, Linda’s multilingual capabilities have enabled her to excel in various undercover assignments, enhancing her effectiveness in diverse operational contexts.

Linda has been recognized repeatedly for her outstanding service, receiving multiple awards and commendations that reflect her commitment to excellence in law enforcement.

 

She holds a Masters of Science from Iona College and a Bachelor’s Degree from Mercy College.  A lifelong proponent of continuous education, Linda emphasizes the importance of training as a crucial investment that empowers individuals to perform their duties with confidence and grow personally and professionally.
